Alicia + Rob // Barn Wedding

What a perfect day.  I had the chance to go back to my favorite venue, The Little Red Barn of Nunica. I always feel so relaxed and at home when shooting there. Alicia and Rob are people who always put others in front of themselves, their Wedding Day was no different. They're both relaxed, kind hearted people and it was an honor to photograph their special day. Alicia got ready with her girls at a beautiful lake house in spring lake, Michigan. Her gorgeous Hayley Paige dress was to die for (my favorite gown designer of all time) and her girls were dressed in different pastels and floral pastel dresses - and of course the florals matched with big blooming Dahlias and greenery. Rob waited for his Bride with his guys at the Barn. Their friends and family had me laughing all night. the dance floor was never bare and it was a treat to see Alicia sing with her band behind her (seriously, a Bride who sings at her own Wedding?!) it was awesome. Alicias Dad gave a hilarious Godfather speech welcoming Rob into the family that had everybody cracking up, too! One of my favorite things was their cookie and milk wedding cake with two decorated cookies on top - they like to have cookies and milk together and it made for the cutest personal touch. Perfect weather, heartfelt moments and so much love all around - it was a beautiful day.
