Vanessa + Erik // Camp Newaygo Wedding

It may have rained pretty much all day at Camp Newaygo but somehow, it made Vanessa and Eriks day that much more romantic. Vanessa wore a beautiful, natural-esque bridal seperate dress with a two toned bridal skirt and a simple top. She seriously looked like princess Belle! Erik wore a wool blend Suit and they both looked so uniquely themselves. They had their first look under an umbrella in the rain and afterwards we hiked through the trails (them in their adorable wellies!) and enjoyed the fall color changes. In a close and intimate ceremony with only their closest family and friends they had an incredible Native American Ceremony where they were wrapped in beautiful blanket to bless their union, followed by a sacred prayer circle, smudging and throwing a wish into the fire. It was so beautiful! With natural, simple woody touches for their decor, it really made the lodge feel like home. I had so much fun with these two and it was a blessing to share in their day with them!
