Thalia + David // Wedding

Thalia and David were married in Coldwater, Michigan on a gorgeous day in May. I arrived to their cute little town where the girls were getting ready in a cute little salon. The champagne was already popped and the girls all had beautiful emerald green silk robes on, Thalia in a white one of course, with their initials monogrammed on the front. Her mom beamed with a smile all morning and I noticed the beautiful floor length veil sitting on the chair and told Thalia how excited I was to photograph her with it. There's something so dreamy about a long veil in the wind on a sunny day - and let me tell you it was beyond beautiful. She wore a crystal Tiara with the veil along with a crystal and embroidery beaded gown. She looked like a princess!

David got ready for the big day by having beers with his guys and his dad while Thalia got ready at her parents house, sharing a special moment with her dad as he was seeing her in her dress for the first time - I think we all had tears in our eyes! Their ceremony was like nothing i'd ever seen before...I found out later that the lasso they used during their catholic ceremony was specially made and brought home from chicago for them to keep and treasure. The church was stunning and full of colorful stained glass with a beautifully natural lit open ceiling with windows. Their reception was filled with pops of gold sparkles, emerald green and white and their families danced and laughed all night while being so hospitable and sweet to me. It was truly a memorable night, Thalia and David are so evidently in love and I wish them nothing but wonderful things in their future together!
